2011 CUBE Acid - Green/Grey
Yet another excellent hartail from Cube Bikes. This time out of Comp MTB range. The CUBE Acid with strong 6061 alloy frame, finished with the German perfection. Comes in two stunning colours – Grey/Green and Black/White – both options also come with matching custom forks and finishing kit.

And what exactly do you get for the £729? Firstly is the 30-speed Shimano SLX transmission which is real gem on a bike at this price, accompanied with the RockShox Dart 3 100mm travel forks with remote lock out, Hayes Stroker stoppers and Shimano hubed wheelset dressed in custom colour rubber slippers. All topped upped with Easton/Scape finishing kit. As usual with Cube – pretty impressive!

Technology used on the 2011 Acid:
• Alu Lite: High-density 6061 aluminium alloy requires a heat treatment for the finished product, it is stiff and very corrosion resistant, fatigue resistant, non-shearing material suitable for light tube-sets with highest stiffness.
• RFR geometry: Our bicycles with RFR-geometry stand out by their sports character. The riding characteristics, rider comfort and rider safety in particular are taken in account for each individual bike category.
• Wet Paint Surface: On polished and brushed aluminium and all HPC frames the logos and graphics are applied in multi-layer wet paint. We use this surface treatment technology mainly to save weight.
